Each March, the Paseo Arts Association hosts an all-medium visual exhibit centered around a different theme. This year’s theme is “Storytellers” and the exhibition has been juried by Mattie Barlow, Manager of Archives & Curatorial Projects at the Oklahoma Hall of Fame at Gaylord-Pickens Museum. Huge thank you to our sponsor, Tinker Federal Credit Union!
The exhibit features artwork by 29 different artists from across Oklahoma. There will be a wide range of art styles and mediums on display, ranging from traditional painting to wood turning, clothing, ceramics, sculpture, printmaking and photography to metalworking. Each of the pieces are “Storytellers” and reflect on a story originating from different histories, objects, personal experiences and cultural narratives. The stories of these Oklahoma artists shines through colorful and curious artwork that brings viewers into the artists’ mind, where they can both see the stories through the artwork and through written statements by each artist. Come see for yourself and learn something new!
