This exhibit by Jennifer Jones will display acrylic paintings and is a reminder that there are no rules in life even though as adults we place many rules and limitations on ourselves. Filled with vivid imagination and whimsy, it allows adults to tap into the inner child and permits escape to a happier time and place. Before you know it you’ll be smiling because of the fanciful nature and design of each piece. The exhibit reflects a journey of the artist’s focus over the last few years.  There are pieces focusing on what insects and other animals do when no one is watching, and others that showcase the colors and patterns and journeys that animals and plants in the wild would choose to wear and go if given the opportunity and other pieces highlight colorful objects that could fill our lives.  The Don’t Paint the Mailbox exhibit looks inside the imaginative mind of the artist.
